doodles from the cold south

The weather's really getting chilly down here in NZ now. I've just invested in a TMNT fleece blanket for my bed. I have so many layers now, but it makes sleeping heaven. X3

Three new things to upload, all in the process of being inked and coloured right now.












So we have a sketch of Yuna's Floral Fatal outfit, Kai Kitty and Jess Panda (cover for a short comic) and a Midori sketch.

I need to use this blog more often too. X3

Winter's coming!

I walked about in the winter rain this evening, I love it so much.

So it's time to make a winter-themed picture. This year I'm going with my Bleach Trio. There's also a WIP picture of a friend's character in here too.

I need to re-size Ganju's head like crazy, and make Hanataro's eyes smaller (they're too big even for my liking. X3). I could have done that by now, but I ran out of blue pencil lead and can't find my refils! Time to get to bed anyways.

They scanned bright-like-woah! Most of all the mermaid bust. I will have to play around with them in photoshop when I finish them off if they scan this bad again.

My flat mate and I have been collecting Dreamweave's TMNT comics. Love the sharp angles and such that LeSean illustrated with for the comics. Just a shame that there were only seven issues printed. :/

Decided to have a go myself with sharp angles with some of my own characters. I may take one of them and work on it more into inks and colours should I fix up imperfections (that weren't aimed to look imperfect, originally, if you get my point?)

First attempt to share some sketches

Just trying out Blogger for the first time. Would be nice to have a place to dump all the random sketches I do on an almost daily basis. These aren't new in the fact that I've uploaded them before to my other blog and/or Deviantart account, but it's giving me a go to try out uploading some stuff. :3
